Something that all dogs need: Exercise, Walks & Mental Stimulation!! Pooky's club was originally established in 2006 as a "cockers" only meetup. I created it to exercise & socialize my "reactive" dog around other dogs & to meet other cocker owners in the area who love the breed as much as I do. Soon thereafter, people started contacting me saying that they didnt have a cocker, but could they come pleazzzze? So in 2007 Pooky established The All Breed Dog Walking Club. All breeds & ages are welcome! The club has grown by leaps & bounds! We meet at various local parks when the weather is nice. We Walk, Hike, hold Yappy Hours, go to the Beach, have Ice Cream Socials & more! Your dog should be friendly with other dogs however reactive dogs are welcome & encouraged. Most reactive dogs are fearful & the walks have helped me & other dogs tremendously! Plus the dogs come home tired! A tired dog is a good dog. Hey we all can use a little exercise! It's a fact that dog owners who walk with their pets are 25% more active & weigh at least 3 lbs. less than those who did not have a dog! Get Fit with Fido! We've met some great people, some great dogs & made new friends! Your dog should be leashed & up to date on shots. Please bring water & poop bags. Training tips are also offered. Terms & Conditions: By Joining "Pooky's Walking Club" I understand I am walking my dog at my own risk. I understand that attendance of any of the walks is not without risk to myself, members of my family, guests who may attend, or to my dog. I Understand it is my responsibility to keep my dog under control at all times. These are leashed dog walks in accordance with the local park rules. I further understand that coming in contact with other dogs is not without health risks and that it is my responsibility to be sure my dog is properly vaccinated and in good health. In consideration of this I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lynne Petermann/The Pooky Professor of any and all claims, claims by any member of my family, or accompanying guests of injury, expense, costs or damages to myself, my dog or any handler sponsored by me. I further understand that any pictures taken of the event may be used for press, website or advertising for an indefinite period of time. |
